Will a vegan diet impact me?
It's well known that there are countless benefits of a vegan lifestyle. However when beginning a plant-based diet for the first time, some individuals report unexpected drops in their energy levels. Eating the right combination of plant-based foods, including grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, and fruits and vegetables is key to ensuring your energy levels remain high. Although salads are healthy and important to include in a balanced vegan diet, they may not be enough on their own to keep you fueled. Take time to explore vegan versions of recipes that may traditionally contain animal products - there are a growing number of delicious options available. The right snacks between meals can also help combat energy levels dropping throughout the day - experiment with things like homemade energy balls or fruit and nut bars for a boost! With the right preparation and planning it's perfectly possible to enjoy a satisfying vegan diet while keeping your energy levels up.
