Carragenina Alert in the capsules compound, I did cancel my suscription for this reason.

Carrageenan has been inaccurately associated with 'Poligeenan' (a degraded derivative of Carrageenan used in animal products). We have reviewed the vast regulatory safety data on Carrageenan and we are satisfied with its suitability. We only use a small amount of Carrageenan in Omega-3 to help form the capsule itself. We wouldn't use any components unless we are completely satisfied with their safety profile.

Poor quality control and poor customer service. I’ve subscribed for about a year and recently many bottles have come covered in putrid oil making them unusable and needing to be thrown out. I’ve thrown out the last 3 full bottles. They make you want to gag and vomit they smell so disgusting. I reached out to to customer service and Michelle made no offer to refund, exchange, inquire lot numbers or anything else other than just how to cancel.

These are the best vegetarian omega 3 I have found with a high level of epa and dha. My only negative is that I have had a few bottles where some capsules had opened and covered the other (I had to throw a whole tub away because the oil that covered the other capsules smelled rancid). I had one replacement sent which was kind but I really hope it doesnt happen again as it is off putting and quite pricey.

I have been taking vegetology opti3 omega-3 capsules for many years. I eat a strictly plant-based diet (vegan) and want to make sure that I get all the vitamins and minerals I need. The balance of omega-3 and -6 is the best balance I have found, based on the recommendations from health officials. Some other products do not not offer the right relation of omega-3 to omega-6. The only reason fish have great omega values is because they eat algae! So why not just get it directly from the algae instead of killing fish! And getting it in these capsules is much easier and safer than trying to estimate how much dried algae to eat to get hte right amount of omegas.

I’ve been using this product for several months and it’s really helped with my dry eyes unlike other vegan omega 3 supplements I have taken before. I do get a pretty strong fishy taste when I take it, but the results are worth it.
