These are the best vegetarian omega 3 I have found with a high level of epa and dha. My only negative is that I have had a few bottles where some capsules had opened and covered the other (I had to throw a whole tub away because the oil that covered the other capsules smelled rancid). I had one replacement sent which was kind but I really hope it doesnt happen again as it is off putting and quite pricey.

I have been taking vegetology opti3 omega-3 capsules for many years. I eat a strictly plant-based diet (vegan) and want to make sure that I get all the vitamins and minerals I need. The balance of omega-3 and -6 is the best balance I have found, based on the recommendations from health officials. Some other products do not not offer the right relation of omega-3 to omega-6. The only reason fish have great omega values is because they eat algae! So why not just get it directly from the algae instead of killing fish! And getting it in these capsules is much easier and safer than trying to estimate how much dried algae to eat to get hte right amount of omegas.
