This has carrageenan in it. I bought it through Amazon and it’s not at all disclosed there. Now I have two orders and am out of my money except if I want to eat stuff that causes inflammation and is linked to colon cancer. And here, all you do is say that these sources are not to be trusted as they are on the internet. Well, so are you. Very disappointed, envy would you not just replace it. There is no conclusive evidence that it’s not harmful no matter the amount. Doctors ask their patients to avoid it.

I've been taking it for a while, and recently I decided to closely check the ingredients. Why do you use carrageenan since its safety is debatable (e.g. PMC8539934)? Now I have to find something else.

We use a tiny amount of Carrageenan to help form the capsule. It wrongly gets a bad press because of internet reports that are actually only relevant to poligeenan (a degraded version not used in food) or due to animal data incorrectly correlated to human use (with doses and conditions not relevant). We wouldn't use any ingredient without being completely satisfied with its safety.

I have been a long-time happy customer of Vegetology, but unfortunately, the pills in the last 7 boxes of Omega-3 I bought are all sticky inside, and don't smell that good either. It is often impossible to get the pills out without breaking them in the process, since they are stuck to each other or 'glued' to the container. I thought it was just a few boxes, but I am at my last of 7 boxes, and they were all the same. Unfortunately, I feel my last order does not carry the same quality as it used to.

I have an autoimmune disease which affects me by my body reacting to some foods or supplements, I have been quite happily taking Opti3 for the past 3 or so years, but they have recently changed the fillers in it and that has caused my body to react when I take it, so unfortunately I am now an ex customer, why do companies insist on changing the ingredients in their capsules, to repeat an old adage, if it aint broke......dont fix it
