Hello! Very happy that you promote veganism. My question is, why do you use the combination of all the 3 forms of cobalamine? I mean, it's a pure vegan product right, and according to my research, I came to know that methycobalamine is a fish/eggs/meat derived/extracted one. Than why do you use it? And please assure that the API and other chemicals/drugs used in your product plant based only. Please bring assurance about veganism of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamine in your product. Hi, all of our products and ingredients are Vegan-suitable, and fully audited by the Vegan Society. This includes the B12 ingredients that we use (which are produced using fermentation). We use a combination in our VitB12 100mcg Sublingual Tablet because they each behave differently when consumed, and absorb at different rates, meaning we achieve good synergistic effects by combining them.
I currently take a daily Proton Pump Inhibitor: Pentopraole. I am a bit confused as to which B12 would be more appropriate for my situation; your B12 Sublingual 100mg, or your B12 1000mg slow release. Thank you, Robert Hi, our recommendation is to start by trying our Sublingual VitB12 tablet and monitoring your B12 status. It is designed to be immediately bioavailable, rather than breaking down in the stomach.
Would it be fine to take this at the same time as the Pregnancy multivit and omega liquid? I’m currently breastfeeding. Thanks! Hi, yes that is fine as a combination. We recommend only using the additional Vitamin B12 product 2-3 times a week with this combination, unless you've been advised that your B12 status is very low.
You have an interesting B12 supplement. Besides Cyanocobalamin it contains two other forms of B12.My question,: Why not use hydroxocobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin. I understand that when one is deranged enough to consume animal products (due to lack of B12 perhaps?) He receives all 3 kinds rather than 2 plus cyanocobalamin as appears in your supplement.May I ask why use cyanocobalamin rather than hydroxocobalamin together with methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin? As always I thank you for your time, Hi, cyanocobalamin is a very stable form of Vitamin B12, whereas hydroxocobalamin is far less stable and typically more suitable for injectables. We found excellent synergistic effects in terms of adsorption and stability with the combination we've used.
Is this suitable for breastfeeding? Thank you Hi, yes it is suitable for breastfeeding but please check if any other supplements you are taking also contain Vitamin B12 too.
We have been taking your multi vitamin for about a year now, with the omega 3.I do take a high B12 complex as well,as I have fibromyalgia. Also I take levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. I am a vegetarian.I have read that iron stops zinc been absorbed.Do you think adding in a zinc supplement would balance this.I am still very tired all the time, and thought it may help with energy levels?.Also my son has anxiety, he is on prescribed medication for this,he is 20hrs and doing a Dance degree,so very active. He is a vegetarian.Do you think he would benefit from a higher B6 supplementation to help with stress/anxiety and improve energy levels. Thank you Hi, we address Iron and Zinc interaction through the carefully balanced MultiVit formula and choice of ingredient forms. This is achieved by using Iron in an Amino Acid Chelate form and Zinc in a Citrate form. We don't think you will need an additional Zinc supplement. As you take an additional high B12 complex too, it might be worth taking this at a different time of day, so perhaps start the day with MultiVit + Omega-3, and then take the additional B12 at lunchtime. This will hopefully help to improve your energy balance at the right times of the day. For your Son, our Active Energy formula is worth consideration as this is designed to help provide energising levels while seeking to optimise the body clock. It contains B6 in a balanced formula with other key vitamins and minerals together with some Adaptogenic herbs. It might be worth you both trying Active Energy, as it gets really good feedback for energising and calming at the right times of the day.
Hi what % of b12 types is the formula? Hi, it is an equal mix of the 3 types of B12.
Hi guys! In the product information you say this is suitable for all ages however in the FAQs you say it’s meant for ages 14+. Can you please clarify if this product is safe for daily use in toddlers/young children? Hi, the formula itself is safe, however the general advice from authorities is not to give supplements to minors unless they are specifically designed for that age group (i.e. liquids / chewable tablets). The sublingual tablets will dissolve in the mouth.
What form of Vitamin B12 do you use? Is it methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin? Our VitB12 100mcg Sublingual tablets contain B12 in a balanced combination of Methylcobalamin, Adenosylcobalamin and Cyanocobalamin forms.
From what age is this suitable for please? We recommend this product for individuals aged 14+.
Are your B vitamins naturally derived and fermented from food sources? Our B Vitamins are produced using fermentation (plant-source substrates).
When is the best time to take this product? The key with all supplements is to not take them on an empty stomach. We therefore recommend taking this and all other supplements around a meal time. The glass of water is optional but always a good thing to include just before or after taking the sublingual tablet and letting it dissolve under the tongue.
Further regarding your B12, are the plant-based substrates you mention, substrates that were fermented please? eg cabbage fermented with probiotics to make sauerkraut (Im trying to find vegan products that have had no probiotcs or Kefir used / present anywhere in the production process , please note) Hi, the B12 is produced microbiologically with a fermentation process. We can confirm no probiotics or kefir are used at all in the process.
Hi, I have been ordered my B12 from you for a while, but have been looking for Thiamine Sublingual for my husband band who has Parkinson's and has been advised to take the B1 Thiamine Sublingual. Please can you let me know if this is something you can provide? Hi, Thiamine (B1) appears in our MultiVit formula at 1.65mg. At present we don't offer B1 in a standalone sublingual formula.
How many mcg of each type of cobalamin is in a tablet? Hi, we use an equal ratio (1:1:1) of each of the 3 types of Vitamin B12 in our Sublingual tablet. So it contains 33.33mcg Methylcobalamin, 33.33mcg Cyanocobalamin, and 33.33mcg Adenosylcobalamin
Should you dissolve the tablet in your mouth or swallow it? The tablets are designed to dissolve under the tongue
Can I take the multivitamins and Vit B12 sublingual at the same time as the multivitamin also contains B12? Yes, it is fine to use these together. With B12 being a water-based Vitamin, the body will grab what it needs and the rest will pass through the body harmlessly.
What is the difference between this sublingual B12 and your Sustained release formula? We offer the two dosing options for VitB12. This sublingual tablet is designed for immediate absorption and provides a very good maintenance dose. The higher strength sustained release tablet is ideal for those with B12 deficiency, and those at highest risk of deficiency.
