can you safely have this alongside all of your available products? are there any to avoid? Hi, our Lion's Mane supplement can be used alongside any/all of our other products.
Hi, interested in the above. However somewhat confused. Other products contain mycelium only or both mycelium and fruit body. You offer an extract? Could you please shed some light on this? And why you chose what you chose? As always thanks for your help. Hi, it is a great question. From our research we found the majority of target active compounds were present (and in higher quantities) within the fruiting body. 'Extract' is just the name given to the preparation and processing of the plant material, but what we use is the whole fruiting body. The Mycelium part is interesting, but at this stage our focus is on the fruiting body only. We have to be careful not to be classed as a "novel food" in Europe (from a regulatory perspective), so combining different parts can be problematic.
Hi, Firstly, what extraction process is used for the lions mane within this supplement? Secondly, I would assume that the 2000mg you quote is the fresh mushroom equivalent, rather than the amount of extract in the capsule? Is that correct? Thirdly, have you, or do you plan to do third party testing for the bioactive compounds such as Hericenones and Erinacines that are responsible for the positive neurological benefits? Thanks. Hi, it is a whole extract of the fruiting body (i.e. not a solvent-based selective extraction process), so the material is washed, concentrated, milled and filtered. Yes our extract is concentrated to equate to the equivalent of 2000mg actual Lion's Mane dry material per capsule. We are doing a lot of work into specific bioactive compounds but more so into understanding the natural synergies and entirety of the composition.
In which country is the lions mane grown? Hi, the Lion's Mane crop is grown in UK.
Hi, how much lions mane is their per 1 capsule? Is it 2000mg? I currently take 1 gram per day but I am considering taking more and potentially in this capsule form. Cheers. Hi, yes 1 x Capsule is 2000mg Lion's Mane Extract.
